Acest proiect a inceput sa fie criticat dinaintea lansarii acestuia deoarece s-a abuzat de simbolurile Bisericii Catolice. Scandalurile au pornit de la vestimentatia cantaretei, aceea de calugarita, momentul in care aceasta inghite rozariul si scenele sado-maso.

 Videoclipul incepe cu prezentarea Divei ce poarta pe brate inima inghetata a celui pe care l-a iubit urmata de un ritual funerar. In cele din urma Lady Gaga moare si se descompune.

Si totusi acest videoclip a fost un proiect foarte bine pus la punct , si o strategie extraordinara. Astfel de idei aduc aproape intotdeauna celebritate si incasari record. Este de admirat totusi curajul cantaretei…
